September 2018 - Alan's Birthday Fundraiser

We honored Alan's birthday this year with a very sucessful facebook fundraiser that raised $3354 towards our $20,000 goal to support CHOP's immunotherapy program.

We are pleased to work to support CHOP's immunotherapy program as they work to fight childhood cancer. The program recently announced receiving a $220,000 grant for a clinical trial that will investigate the effectiveness of immune system cells (CAR T cells) to treat relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML, the 2nd most common form of leukemia in children) in children and young adults.

We recently received a sweet thank you note from Kaleo's mom. Kaleo is a little boy who beat leukemia thanks to the help of a bone marrow translplant from his older sister. Please take a moment to read Kaleo's story here.
